Stand Back A Bit
This week’s comic was a lot of fun to do, especially considering how long it’s been since I’ve done a full page comic. Here’s hoping I can keep up the pace.

The little tree kitty (kittree?) will be joining them for the next little while. It’s a cutie, and more interesting to draw then just rounded blobs. Proud with how this page turned out, and glad I went dialogue free. I think it stands better without it. In other news, I’m in another art show next… Continue reading 6/7 Planted
This week’s comic was a lot of fun to write and draw. I got to pick out disgusting words and keep the art simple while focusing on expression. I’m sad that the eye guts had to be so small… here’s a slightly closer look:
I’ve been playing a lot of Assassins Creed 3 lately, and today’s comic was somewhat born out of that. In the game, when traveling from point A to point B, you can rather simply face that direction and press forward whilst holding a trigger. This causes your player to climb over nearly any obstacle with… Continue reading Mini Map
These new guys were a lot of fun to design and draw. I picture the little one speaking with a gruff Australian accent, while the larger one mostly grunts and snorts. I haven’t named ’em yet though. Check out the Facebook Fan Page to leave your suggestion of what they should be named. Tried doing… Continue reading Doppleblobbers
This whole piece kind of happened by accident. I’ll explain. It started out as a background I was drawing in paint in my downtime, just roughing things out as I was bored. I took the layout and brought it in to Illustrator to clean up and work with, and got a little carried away. I… Continue reading Twinners!
Man was this a lot of dialogue. A lot more than usual anyway. The whole page was done in Illustrator, and I’m rather proud of how it turned out in the end. It did make a lot of things simpler, but simultaneously made ordinarily simple things complex. I think a good healthy combination of vectors and pixels… Continue reading Mo and Mungo
Another page done solely in Illustrator. I am starting to get tired of it. I end up focusing on minute details that aren’t going to be appreciated, let alone seen. Speaking of which, here is a higher version of the fancy chest vector: I have been having a lot of fun with the geometric tiling… Continue reading Mira the Mimic
I’ve given much thought to the monsters you fight in RPGs or videogames, just hanging out until you enter the room, and then pouncing. What is it they do as they wait? Are they waiting? Or are you just catching them on the unawares? Are you bursting into their home and murdering them and their… Continue reading Battle Plan
I’ve been pretty jazzed about this comic because of that last panel’s reveal. So creepy/gross and it totally cracks me up.
