Bed Time

That druid’s place is incredibly crowded, which makes it  both a pleasure and pain to draw.

The panels themselves are way too crowded/busy, which I think makes it a bit difficult to follow.  I tried to cram a lot in to three panels.  Live and learn.

You may notice some things popping up on the site (such as a characters section, about section, etc).  Feel free to peruse, but for the most part there’s either nothing or poorly formatted information.  I’m working on getting this stuff up and going soon, so stay tuned!

Ah! I see the Cyclopus makes an appearance amid the plethora of various curious critters. 🙂 Does his species actually have a name?

I’m kinda reminded of a Beholder… (The Final Fantasy Mystic Quest kind – Not the D&D kind which is distinctly different in appearance and demeanor.)

Good eye! No name for the species that I’ve come up with yet, but they’re a pretty common bunch.

Hehe 😀 To me, he’ll always be a cyclopus! (plural cyclopi, I guess?)

Umm… Whatever species is Choony then? A catantula?

Also: It just struck me how anatomically weird Jasper looks while lying on his back… or… umm… side??… or… well, how weird he looks while being in horizontal mode as opposed to his vertical stance.

I’d expect a blob to look, well, just about the same no matter how he was reclining since he’s… well… a blob. 🙂 It seems the anatomical mysteries of Bo and Jasper need some further looking into! I notice his “foot” (if you can call it that) seems to be stiffer than his head, since I can see his head kinda drooping when he’s lying down, but the blanket seems to indicate that his lower body retains the flat shape even in this position. 🙂

Or I could just be overthinking this. 😀 Just goes to show I visit (and think on) this comic a lot. 😉

I love the name Cyclopus! Totally using that.

As for the blobs and their shape shifting, they are able to squish, stretch, and even take new forms, but this takes energy and focus. In their resting state, they tend to return to their original form.

Hehe, feel free! I’m glad you like it, and I’m happy to contribute to the world you’re creating. 🙂

Also: Nicely thought out reasoning on the blob shape issue. 🙂 Nice to see you’ve actually thought out the biology (or maybe chemistry?) of your main protagonists. 🙂

It reminds me of the monster from the ledgend of Zelda series, Chus I believe they were called.

Weren’t Chus those green/red/yellow/blue/dark colored jelly-things in Wind Waker? I think they resemble our dynamic duo more than any other critter seen here. 🙂

Or maybe you’re confusing the Chus with Octorocks. They were the many-eyed rock spitting octopi that have been in every zelda, I believe.

Yes, I know my Zelda lore. 😀
